[Interview Translation] Manga Erotics F Vol. 82 Interview With Shimura Takako

This is an English translation of an interview with Shimura Takako, author of LGBTQ+ manga such as Sweet Blue Flowers, Happy-Go-Lucky Days, and Wandering Son. This interview was originally published in the August 2013 volume of magazine Manga Erotics F alongside the final chapter of Sweet Blue Flowers.

The original article contains a total of seven footnotes, which I have translated verbatim. Because of this, I declined to add my own footnotes. However, in places I deemed necessary, I did add links to certain terminology and references that may be unclear.

There were accompanying pictures in the print article. However, all of them were simply panels from Sweet Blue Flowers and other Shimura Takako manga. As such, I decided the article could stand on its own without them.
